The three of us swam out till our feet no longer touched the bottom. It’s quite a ways from shore, the slope is so gentle. The water is a dark blue here, though we still can’t see anything in it. Our beaches are dark and muddy and a little bit oily, no clear seas to be seen. We don’t mind, it’s not like we know any better.
And because I seriously need to get back into writing. I will post a small vignette here every day for the rest of the month. Also I plan to read only Ray Bradbury this month.
